OUR PROGRAM and SERVICES:
Brothers United provides HIV/STD prevention, education and awareness to the African-American Gay / Bisexual, Same Gender Loving Men and Transgender communities.
Brothers United provides services for:
1. The prevention of the transmission of HIV/STD’s
2. The improvement of the quality of life of those infected and affected
3. Creating access to education and support services for the African-American community;
4. Advocating for an effective and compassionate response to HIV and other STD’s.
The agency has several programs and interventions, including:
1. HIV positive discussion/support group that meets bi-monthly
2. A youth discussion group that meets bi-monthly
3. A general discussion group that meets monthly
4. Comprehensive Prevention Case Management
5. A support group for partners, family members, loved ones and caregivers of HIV positive 6. 6. Gay/Bisexual/Transgender people
6. HIV Testing and Counseling services
7. I.M.A.G.E. Intelligent Men Acquiring Genuine Excellence
